While thinking that nobody is watching, a boy scoops some water in his hands and sprinkles it around him. However, before the other kids laughingly embark on a water battle, the mother gives them a strict look and again there is peace. I lazily adjust myself in my poolside chair and decide that swimming can wait a bit.

The healing power of waters in the pools of Rogaška's Riviera is very beneficial. Bathing in the thermal-mineral water rich in sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium gives a feeling of being reborn, while it has a very favourable impact on inflammatory and degenerative diseases of the joints and soft tissues. For relaxation, recreation and vitality there are outdoor and indoor pools to choose from, their temperature being from 27°C to 36°C. Water aerobics is also organized, but you can simply pamper yourself with many types of lying, wall or floor massages.

BALNEOCHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THERMAL MINERAL WATER

Thermal mineral water is pumped from 1700 m deep artesian well in the centre of Rogaška Slatina. It´s temperature on the outflow is 59° C. Water contains 5800 mg dissolved solid mineral substances and is after balneochemical classification sodium-hydrogencarbonate sulphatechloride fluoride contained hypertherm.

There is a resemblance to the water from famous Czech health resort Karlovi vary referring to its structure.

Contain of chloride of sodium or kitchen salt gives water distinctive salty taste. In spite of high mineralization it is harmless for drinking in small quantities.WATER IS NOT RADIOACTIVE AND DON´T CONTAIN TO HEALTH HARMFUL SUBSTANCES.
